So my friend asked me what Dotor Who was about

What I Said: It's about an alien who named "The Doctor" who travels through time in a spaceship called "The Tardis" who looks like a police telephone box. He saves people and other aliens with the help of Companions who have tagged along, and with his "Sonic Screwdriver"
What I meant: It's about friendship and being brave, love and loss, life and death, forgiveness and guilt, being human and less than human, skill and intellect and sometimes just getting lucky. Finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. Looking up at the night sky and realizing you are part of an impossibly beautiful and mysterious universe, and that you don't know all the answers no matter how clever you are. It's about looking inside yourself and realizing you're far greater than the external conditions of your life. You're not a shopgirl, you're not a successful medical doctor, you're not a temp, you're not a little girl who needs to grow up or a little boy that thinks the love of his life could've done better.You're the most important person in creation and at the same time you're the most insignificant. It's about embracing your inner darkness so that you can't stand in the light of your truth. It's about having the ability to do what's right when the rest of the world has runaway. That's what Doctor Who is about!

Okay i know this is something really simple but it just reminded of how people act.
Am on the bus and all the windows are open, one person gets up and asks can I close that window. A little later one after the other people get up to close the windows. Was everyone in the bus cold but didn’t think it was okay to close the window? Did it just takes one person action to change everyone else’s?
Or did everyone just think ‘she closing the window she must be cold…..actual am cold too now.’

Why is it okay to be depressed about work?
When people ask whats wrong and you tell them you feel trapped by work and it starting to really depress you that all you do is something you hate. The reply you get is ‘well thats life!’

If they’re going to be sexually active there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it, and we frankly shouldn’t be stopping them from making their own decisions either. The best thing we can do is give them accurate, straight-forward, and real-world sex education and let the kids make their own decision about their own bodies and health.

Parents, you cannot protect your children forever. You may want too, you might think it’s the best thing for them, but it’s not.
